"Cloud After Dark" began as a longing to serve the community of individuals who are under-represented in the tech field. This longing brought CAD to a select group of adults in various stages of Cloud experience: from just starting out to those who were certified and actively working in the Cloud field. The group's success grew as those in attendance attained certifications, promotions, job offers, and even started a consulting company to assist outside clients in Cloud-related project management. No one was left behind; where there was a need, it was filled to ensure victory.
The outstanding need for an affordable, after-hours training program for working individuals who want to learn Cloud from the leisure of their home became the focus for CAD.
How are we different?
Everywhere you look, there are hundreds of self-paced video tutorials, but this learning model leaves a lot to be desired. You are not able to ask questions when they pop up during training and the forums can be hard to navigate.
"Cloud After Dark" uses a different model. We have designed a four-step system proven to help you pass your exams with confidence. We teach you how to use various tools that are standard in the AWS industry; this knowledge will give you the confidence boost that you need to conquer any AWS-related interview and to excel at your new job. With so many programs out there, we distinguish ourselves by having capable AWS-Certified training instructors ready to help personally guide you through your AWS Cloud journey.
How we deliver:
Virtual Classrooms: We hold virtual classroom sessions with a live instructor three times a week where you can follow along and ask questions.
A Dedicated Slack Channel: Stay connected to the instructors no matter the time or day.
Additional Industry Tools: The Cloud space can be very broad in terms of tooling, but there are standard tools that you need to be familiar with to be successful. After certification, you will have access to instructor-led beginner courses on Git, Ansible, Linux, and Terraform.
